No. Openreach is a wholesale network used by many ISPs including Telexico. You get the same physical fibre network but with Telexico's pricing, support and SLA — often cheaper and with better service than going directly to BT Business.
Openreach FTTP provides much faster upload than FTTC. The 150Mbps tier provides 150Mbps upload; the 500Mbps tier provides 75Mbps upload. For fully symmetric speeds, a leased line over Openreach infrastructure is available.
BT is switching off PSTN and ISDN phone lines by January 2027. This affects your telephone service but not your broadband. However, we recommend upgrading to VoIP at the same time as your fibre upgrade — Telexico handles both together.
